In 2012 Clare Sykes of Popcorn Kitchen asked Splatt to create a set of labels, point of sale and a branded gazebo to promote their delicious popcorn. At that time she and her husband were hand-popping their popcorn from home and selling it at farmers’ markets and festivals. As their name grew, so did the retail opportunities. The packs evolved from self-labelled clear packs to fully printed foil bags, seen on shelves in independent stores, theatres and cinemas all over the UK. To complement the packaging, Splatt has designed FSDUs, posters, adverts and direct mail.
